Shorten links using your own domain!

Create, manage and send short links to your clients and improve your service level. Now you do not need to use third-party services to get a short link, and all links you send will linked to your own domain. For each click to a shortened link, we keep statistics of clicks. This way, you can easily track which links are the most popular. You can use it to create AB tests by placing different short links in different places, which will lead to the same page, and track which location is most effective. On this basis, you can come up with many more different combinations of useful use of this functionality.

Addon settings

An addon supports the following settings:

  • Seo-path of shortened links - you can set any value for the directory for shortened links
  • Number of characters in a shortened link. For example, 5 characters makes it possible to generate about one billion combinations of shortened links (655).
  • Disabled links redirect - You have 3 options for redirection to choose from: 404 page, main page and custom URL.
  • Use only lowercase letters - the short link will contain only lowercase letters. When this setting is enabled, it is recommended to increase the number of characters in the shortened link. 
  • Notify user about disabled short link - If the user tries to follow a disabled link, he will be shown a corresponding notification. 
  • Use custom domain - For short links, you can use an alternative domain linked to your server.

Note

Short URL - is link with 301 redirect to main URL. So, you can use it to make shorter any URL including another domains and websites.
